The Mathey Dearman Hold Down Clamp holds the pipe in position for cutting or fit-up of pipe or fittings such as flanges, tees, elbows or valves.
Hold Down Clamps safely secure the pipe to a jackstand or table for the fit-up of tees, elbows, flanges and other fittings.
For some applications the Hold Down Clamp is used in conjunction with the level and support device to hold the pipe or fitting in place during the alignment and welding process.
Light weight, easy to install—the D244 Hold Down Clamp has a range of 2"-16" (51-406mm) with an 800 lb working load, and the D245 Hold Down Clamp has a range of 10"-48" (254mm-1219mm) with a 1,300 lb working load.
The crank shaft mechanism takes up the slack in the chain to hold the pipe safely and securely with the chain being placed at the base of the V-Head of the jackstand, and not through the legs.
